- Kids want the weight loss program to be as effortless as possible. They want control of data sharing. They want to know the effects of their choices on their heart and other organs. They want to know how they will look in the future.
- Parents want to help their child succeed while promoting their autonomy. They want to know the impact of the child’s eating and activity goals.
- Clinicians know that advice offered every three or four months is not enough engagement to change behaviors. They want 15 minute, quarterly visits to be more than just data gathering. They want a summary of what the teen had been doing so they can engage their patient and direct their weight loss efforts.
